With Christmas time upon us, there is nothing more timely and nothing more inevitably sickening than a musician releasing a Christmas album. Johnny Setlist is no different, and thus "Christmas Songs For No One In Particular" is here. Chock full of ten original festive numbers to help you get through/accentuate the Christmas period, "Christmas Songs For No One In Particular" is perfect for all members of the family (so long as they are comfortable with profanity and the whiny voice of a man-child at a piano)!

For the past almost-decade, under coercion from absolutely nobody, Johnny Setlist took it upon himself to write and record a Christmas song for the holidays every year; this album collects fresh versions of all those tracks along with some hot new songs to add much needed relevance to these sometimes dated numbers. Some songs are silly, some songs are sentimental, and some are as sanguine as you can get in this current world in which we live. Each year brings with it new challenges, more reaffirmations of why we love living, and fresh whiplashes of pain, and these songs often capture how Johnny Setlist was feeling during a particular year. Kind of like when you watch "It's A Wonderful Life" every Christmas Eve and find yourself crying at different parts every year, depending on what has happened during the past twelve months. Here's hoping these tracks bring some joy, reassurance, or (from having these inane hooks stuck in your head forevermore) severe pain to you and your loved ones!
